In the interest of transparency, Spiral Nature Magazine has shared its financials for the past four years we’ve been attempting to make money to pay our writers and editors. You can view the whole history in our financials tag.
December 2018 we published 4 new articles, 6 reviews, 5 editions of our popular weekly astrology column, Hidden Insights, 1 article available to Premium Members, otherwise known as the Occultnik Cabal, and 8 other items.
All in all, we’ve published more than 300 columns, articles, and reviews in 2018.
Most of it freely available to you, dear reader.
Here’s what little money came in, and where our money was spent this month:
As you know, there are so many great things we want to do with Spiral Nature, but with our current losses, it’s simply not possible.
And we’re back to a big shortfall this month, with -$450. This increased our annual shortfall to -$2,564. (This is, of course, on top of the thousands we lost last year, and in the years previous. All of which comes out of Psyche’s already empty pockets. Sigh.)
We’d love to at least break even, or, even better, see a surplus so we can increase our payments to writers. (Yes, we want to pay people more. As much as we can, really.)
That’s where you (hopefully!) come in.
