At Hidden Insights, we start off the week dealing with an intense energy that’s bleeding through from the weekend with the beginning wave of Saturn in trine with Uranus.
No other two planets within the heavens could possibly be more different. Saturn brings structure, order, and time, while Uranus brings shock, revolution, rebellion, and reform. When the two work harmoniously together, we can anticipate a period of cautious reform, or structured rebellion. It is likely we will see these themes start to rise across the globe over the next several weeks, as many will be ready to make drastic, but controlled moves.
Many will experience this energy as a restless need to make a change. This signals a period where we can make the final leap into completely changing the way we live, and structure out lives. We may also feel compelled to join an activist or human rights movement. Both Aries and Sagittarius will feel this energy the strongest, as the trine touches both of their signs.
We also see lovely Venus joining Jupiter on Monday. This can make it difficult to get along with others, as we may experience an inflated ego paired with greed. This is further agitated by Mercury’s square to Neptune, which can produce delusional thinking, the tendency to tell lies, and reveal scandals. While this all sounds a little scary to deal with, you can certainly put these aspects to good use. While we may not be the most pleasant people to be around this week, personal creativity is at its peak for the year. This is an excellent week to explore music, poetry, and performance art, particularly in the areas of faith and spirituality.
The weekend becomes a little tense with Mercury, Mars, and Pluto playing with each other in the sky. Here is where arguments could come to a head from any conflict that was created earlier in the week. It is my own recommendation to avoid having any important or potentially upsetting conversations at all this week, unless you absolutely must. Put them off to next week, when the stars are more cooperative.
Saturday’s new Moon occurs at 26 degrees Scorpio, so those of you born on the 15th, 16th or 17th of November will feel this Moon much more personally. As is typically with a new Moon, this marks a period where we can begin or initiate new projects, relationships, or make a fresh start. In Scorpio and in aspect with Saturn and Uranus, we can use this Moon to face some of our darker fears. It is likely many of us may be confronted with the shadow side of ourselves, as we learn to accept the darkness as well as the light within us. On a more mundane level, this new Moon will help act as a catalyst for the Saturn Uranus trine discussed in the first paragraph. Perhaps we will see a new wave of protests or grass roots movements across the globe.
Aries (21 March — 20 April)
There seems to be a bit of tension in the air for you this week, Aries, as you seem to be feeling the need to retreat. This is because you want to hash out the details of some important aspects in your life. The dream world may become more prominent in your life this week, as you are likely to notice your dreams. Along with the potential for potent dreams and visions, you will also be presented with several signs and omens this week, which help you, become more aware of the unseen world. This weekend becomes rather active as your mental focus comes back to reality, which is perfect for the more seriousness signals from the new Moon on Saturday. For you, this lunation brings new beginning in the realm of savings and loans. You should most certainly use this energy to re-budget, invest, or open a savings account. Essentially, you will want to get your finances organized for your future.

Taurus (21 April — 20 May)
This week is all about making connections with others who are delightfully unusual, Taurus. You’re likely to encounter an individual who seems positively wacky. While exciting you will want to make sure you don’t get too wrapped up in this other person’s world or you could find your reputation in question. However, you want to be certain not to completely dismiss a person who is starkly different than you. They can be rather helpful in getting you out of your normal routine, as long as you hold on to something stable. Fortunately, as a Taurus, this should be easy for you to do. The new Moon this weekend is all about redefining relationships for you. Is it time to take the next step in your relationship? Do you want to consider new boundaries, or lack of boundaries? Either way, the individual you run into this week is likely to help shape the way you refocus your romantic commitments.

Gemini (21 May — 20 June)
The heavens are colouring your sector of career, status, and reputation this week, Gemini. Expect a lot of activity, and possibly some changes to this area of your life. While the last several years may have been challenging in the workplace as Neptune has been lingering there, Mercury and Venus could provide some clarity. Early in the week you will want to be cautious about those who may wish to pull the proverbial wool over your eyes at work, but gentle Venus helps smooth some of this energy by surrounding you with compassion. What you need to be asking yourself to active this planet is: how can I serve? This will help lift the cloud of delusion and make you shine when others seem to be lost in the fog. For this weekend, the new Moon promises to ignite the desire and energy to re-organize some of the more chaotic aspects of your life, as well as possibly make some lifestyle changes. You may want to consider doing some spring cleaning, even though it’s autumn.

Cancer (21 June — 20 July)
Cancer, with the multiple hits to your sector of higher education, philosophy, and travel this week, you could find yourself at odds mentally in these areas of your life. If you find yourself at actual odds with someone at school, or in the home, be prepared to be met with some passive aggressive tones. By Friday this should all settle down, particularly if your confrontation was in the home. The creative juices get flowing just in time this weekend, as the new Moon hits your sector of creativity. This will help you find a creative solution, to the stress you have been under over the last several weeks. It’s time for unconventional moves, as you start a new path. While this Moon does bring creative solutions, it is also in a very sexually charged position for Cancer. Romantically, this Moon brings boldness to your approach and is a wonderful time start a new relationship or add some creativity to your current one.

Leo (21 July — 20 August)
Your intimate relationships could be tested early this week, Leo, particularly when it comes to join finances or money. You want to make sure you are having open and honest conversations with others about joint financial ventures. On the bright side, this is a particularly powerful week, just like last week, to receive a windfall of money or loan approval. If you’ve been thinking about applying for credit, certainly do so. You just need to wait till at least Wednesday to apply. By Thursday and Friday, you may be suddenly overcome by feeling of impatience. This is because you are finally focused enough to get everything on your to do list accomplished. Just remember, that just because you are being productive it doesn’t mean everyone around you also needs to. The new Moon this weekend illuminates your foundation, home, and family. You may need to reach out to support systems, and certainly your instincts will be running high. Trust them, and follow your gut.

Virgo (21 August — 20 September)
This week promises to be busy around your home, Virgo. This is because someone who lives with you (likely a significant other) needs more of your attention than usual. Try to be patient with them, as you will be the source of care and support this week. If you’ve been dealing with some changing or financial struggles, the end of this week will bring both stability and clarity. As the Moon goes dark on Saturday, you may receive a form of communication about your property, rent, or living situation. Don’t panic, it doesn’t necessarily need to be bad news. Though, you will want to be alert to a form of correspondence that needs your immediate attention. Just make sure you have someone else look over it before submitting anything, as you may be prone to missing a detail. There’s nothing worse than a returned or delayed form due to not checking a box.

Libra (21 September — 20 October)
It’s all about your routine this week, and you’ll need to focus on staying on task. While you are usually great at this, your social nature may want to try and override your productivity. As the scales of balance, Libra, you should just remind yourself that responsibilities help to balance your social life. Travelling on the 13th could prove problematic, so you will want to give yourself extra time to get to get to where you’re going, as well as be cautious of blind spots when walking, biking, and driving. An unexpected visitor to your home is also likely this week, and it’s likely this person will be reaching out to you for help. Your innate desire to serve will be well rewarded if you are able to lend a hand. If you are a pet owner, you may want to make sure you are stocked up on all your companion’s needs and spend some extra time with them, as they also take the lead in your life this week. By the time the weekend comes around, the new Moon will strike your sector of pleasure. You’ll be able to rest on your laurels and indulge your five senses. Scorpio (21 October — 20 November)
The idea of falling in love with love, is something that you don’t typically succumb to, Scorpio, but it does happen. If someone flows into your life this week, make sure they are not already involved. Similarly, you may need to remind yourself that you are already involved in a relationship. What you are experiencing this week is the need to conquer the unattainable, and they should remain that way. If used properly, this energy could give you the edge when it comes to appreciating a valuable piece of art that could be grossly undervalued. In turn, it could produce a nice profit for you. Thrift shops and auctions are your best friends this week, and can produce an opportunity to make some money if you don’t become blinded by an entanglement with someone you can’t have. This weekend’s new Moon is particularly important for you Scorpio, as it falls in your sign. This allows you the opportunity to reinvent yourself. This also allows you to be more open with others. Where you’re typically more reserved, this is your opportunity to get out of your shell, and show the world what you’re made of.

Sagittarius (21 November — 20 December)
The focus of the heavens this week ,Sagittarius, is on your home. Mercury and Venus are bringing negotiations and possibly some deception to your door. You will want to be wary of whom you let into your home, and try not to get taken advantage of. On a lighter note, happy memories and family will also feature prominently this week, where you will have the opportunity to reconnect with those you haven’t seen or spoken with in a while. This is likely to strike your humanitarian cord, and lead you to make some quick decisions when it comes to assisting others. While most of the week seems to be a bit of a whirl wind when it comes to people in your life, the weekend promises some rest and relaxation. The new Moon will trigger your 12th house, which asks you to recharge, and spend some extra time sleeping in and keeping to yourself.

Capricorn (21 December — 20 January)
Where typically practical and focused, your intuition is stimulated this week, Capricorn. For many of you, it may feel like someone from the other side is trying to communicate. It’s not for me to say if it’s a departed loved one or your subconscious, but what I can say is that you should listen intently. It’s also a good week for you to keep to yourself at work or take some time off if possible. It’s as if the planets are asking you to reconnect with your spiritual side, so you don’t get too caught up in the mundane world of responsibilities. On Friday you’ll be able to use what you have been meditating on and receiving messages about, as a new clarity will help you make some final decision. Last week I urged you to let your friends take you out, did you listen? If not, this weekend’s new Moon gives you the ability to network. It looks like Saturday and Sunday are shaping up to be wonderful days to make important business or social connections. You never know who you might run in to, so get out there and network. The connections you make this weekend, will be able to colour your successes in 2018.

Aquarius (21 January — 20 February)
Much like others in the zodiac this week, Aquarius, you may find yourself early in the week the target of deception in the form of a scam. This could prove to manifest as a phony debt collector, a prince in need of financial assistance from a far-off land, and deals that appear too good to be true. As you are typically analytically minded, this shouldn’t be too hard for you to overcome, but when Neptune is in play, it is amazing what we may fall for. Friday brings some good news in terms of finances at work. This could manifest as a raise, a bonus, or a surprise bucket of money that someone forgot to pay you. So, you’ll want to make sure you double check your books and accounts to ensure you are getting all the money you have coming in. This weekend’s new Moon also plays a role in your own success at work, as it falls in your sector of career and reputation. Here it allows you to map out goals, set new standards of discipline in your life. It gives you a new outlook on your life’s path in terms of work and career, almost as though you are energized to reach for new horizons. For those of you that may be unemployed, this is the perfect time to get the ball rolling to find a new one, while those currently employed can use this Moon’s energy to set into motion a new career choice, promotion, or move.

Pisces (21 February — 20 March)
Last week we discussed new career opportunities and advancements, and the trend continues this week, Pisces. However, it may come with some internal road blocks, as you may find yourself doubting your own skills when it comes to personal succes.s Maybe it’s something in your past, or even a legal issue that has you feeling like you don’t deserve to get ahead. These thoughts are only illusions, so you will need to be hyper vigilant to keep them at bay as you begin this week. If you can keep reinforcing positive self-talk, Friday will be a wondrously productive day for you. As you move into the weekend, the new Moon’s energy may make you feel restless for adventure. It may even make you feel ready to break out of your typical routine. As a philosophical sign, this Moon zaps your inner mystic, and is likely to lead you to some profound conversations. Just try to be patient if others can’t keep up with your line of thinking on this. Remember, you flow unpredictably like the tides of the sea, and that can be difficult for others to follow. Especially, when you’re mentally swimming with deep issues.
