Here at Hidden insights, the first half of the week continues to be mellow as the stars are predominantly silent. Sunday, 26 May through Tuesday, 28 May is a great time to rest, rejuvenate, and recharge. As the heavens begin to churn once again on Wednesday the first major aspect in the heavens is a square between Mercury and Neptune. It can be difficult to be rational right now, as imaginations may be overactive. The truth becomes cloudy, and it becomes difficult to get a straight answer out of anyone. Avoid serious discussions, and instead, follow instinct and creative urges.
Venus joins the party on Thursday when she makes a sextile to Neptune. This should soften the confusion from Wednesday, as both love and affection rule the day. Expect most of the world to be feeling both generous and willing to forgive. As the day continues, Mercury forms an opposition with expansive Jupiter. It will be all too easy for people to take on more than they can handle right now, especially if motives are driven by the desire to impress others. Many may be easily taken advantage of now, particularly regarding finances.
The week finishes off with Venus making a trine to Saturn on Friday, 31 May, which sets the tone for the entire weekend. If midweek was all about excessive giving, the weekend is all about exercising restraint. Cautious energy forces us to feel as though we need to prove how responsible we are. This is a great time to fall in love with your work or to find a job that makes your heart sing. Any major projects or plans that have been on the back burner, can now take centre stage successfully.
Astro Homework
This week’s homework assignment focuses on the energies of Neptune as both Mercury and Venus make aspects to this elusive planet. Neptune rules imagination, delusion, fog, and spirituality. Take time this week to embrace the inner artist. Before the week is over, free sketch, scribble, paint, or draw, and see what messages you can find in your artwork.
Aries (21 March — 20 April)
You typically prefer to stay on the go, but this week is all about inner movement, Aries. You are feeling more pensive than usual, and you may be inclined to review your past. Try not to spend too much time on the choices you made, or any regrets you might have. They are an important part of who you are today and help tell the story of where you are going. An unexpected medical expense may hit midweek, even if it’s just to restock stick-on bandages for your inevitable cuts and scrapes. Thursday brings the opportunity to expand your mental horizons. Learning a new skill or returning to school may be the topic of conversation at your house. Be certain it is something you really want to do before making any major changes. Ask a friend or partner for their input to help you stay objective.

Taurus (21 April — 20 May)
It can be difficult to know whom to trust, Taurus, and those thoughts are likely to fly through your mind several times this week. A disagreement with a friend is possible on Wednesday, especially if there is tension surrounding money. As your ruling planet make a sextile to Neptune on Thursday, you can expect a day filled with cozy pillows and sweet dreams. If possible, set time aside to spoil your senses. Jump in your favourite pajamas, the order in your favourite meal, and drift off with a romantic comedy. Enjoying simple pleasures will help you recharge for an active weekend. Friday and Saturday promise a great deal of movement, and many born under the sign of the bull may be travelling this weekend. If this is you, expect an easy journey and an enjoyable time.

Gemini (21 May — 20 June)
Your work life may a bit bumpy this week, Gemini, especially with so much confusing Neptune energy flying around. Conflict on Tuesday makes it difficult for you to get others to believe your side of the story. Sometimes it is best to wait for the truth to surface on its own. If you attempt to fight the confusion, you will only dig yourself into a deeper hole. Fortunately, your love life couldn’t be better, and a surprise midweek will make all of the stress at work worth it. Allow someone special to care for you for a change. Over the weekend, you will be called to become serious about your budget and bills. If necessary, scrap your current budget entirely and write an entirely new one.

Cancer (21 June — 20 July)
Dream as big as you want to this week, Cancer. You are focused on the bigger picture right now and desire to conquer the world. Even if you’re not imagining trips to far off lands, you certainly feel motivated to do just about anything. The only drawback is that it may be difficult to make a solid decision about what you want, as the options seem endless. Ask a family member with more life experience to help you focus your ambitions. Conversations about health are possible on Thursday, as a rash or skin irritation surfaces. Seek advice from a medical professional to be certain, but it’s most likely nothing to worry about. Over the weekend, a friend with a business plan may invite you to participate. Think long and hard before entering into a professional relationship with those who are close to you.

Leo (21 July — 20 August)
It may be difficult to escape your debts this week, as collectors come to call, and bills you forgot to pay surface, Leo. Forgetting to make a payment is never comfortable, but it is something that can occasionally happen. This week, the luck of Jupiter allows you to negotiate your debts more easily. If you have a large bill that has not been paid, have a conversation about a reduced pay off or the smaller payment plan, and this can be quite fruitful. An invitation to a party comes your way this Thursday, but while it may be tempting to pour money into a new outfit for the gathering, you will want to exercise restraint. Remember that you don’t have to be the centre of attention, and it’s ok to be seen in the same outfit more than once. You will be much happier if you can learn to relax and just have a good time.

Virgo (21 August — 20 September)
Connecting with others may be difficult this week, Virgo, as your sector of interpersonal relationships gets hit twice with Neptune’s aspects. It may seem as though nothing you say is getting across to others. On a related note, you cannot seem to understand what people are trying to tell you either. For such a perceptive individual, this may be incredibly frustrating. Try to understand that there are times when communication breaks down, and nothing can be done. Instead of living in frustration, focus on what you are currently able to control. Thursday brings a major boost to income, especially for Virgos who work from home. Over the weekend, you may need to get serious about a creative project for an upcoming event. Put your crafting hat on, and get to work.

It might be a good idea to plan an extra one-on-one time with them. Not only will your pets thank you, but you will thank yourself from taking a break from the human species. Over the weekend Venus makes a trine to your ruling planet, giving you a magnetic glow. You can finally come out of your shell and socialize with others by Saturday.

There is a good chance you can afford it, as long as you spend wisely.

By Thursday, it should become clear that change needs to be made in your home. For many, this will come as a desire to move or make major changes to your environment. An opportunity at work may give you the boost you are looking for to make a change at home. Even if you don’t go out and buy a home, you certainly could purchase a new bed or furniture set. Over the weekend, you may be inclined to criticize your friends. Don’t judge too harshly, as it’s often better to keep certain opinions to oneself.
