With two planets changing signs and a New Moon in Gemini, Hidden Insights can safely say that we have a surprising and active week ahead. However, nothing really starts happening until the 12th. So, Sunday and Monday should be fairly relaxed, with a slight internal angst building due to Mercury and Venus preparing to change signs. After our first sign change on Tuesday, events will heat up with funhouse-like confusion coming around every turn.
Mercury moving into Cancer shifts our mental focus towards being caring and nurturing, though we may be inclined toward emotional outbursts. This is shortly followed by Venus moving into Leo. Here Venus becomes proud, bold, and a bit needy. The emotional surge from Mercury paired with Venus’ ego should make for intense interactions with others this week. This will be particularly evident on Wednesday and Thursday, as Mercury and Venus both make aspects to Uranus. We should expect tension in our interpersonal relationships, and the possibility of feeling offended or offending others, –even if we don’t mean to. Try to treat everyone with respect and delicate care this week.
Each month we experience a new Moon, though it’s not always aligned with a fixed star. On the 13th, that is exactly what is scheduled to happen. The Moon and Sun will align with El Nath, which has been said to bring fights between business associates, as well as the possibility of giving up something valuable for another person. As fixed stars usually affect the world at large, we are likely to see political leaders express this energy most clearly. We should not be surprised if we hear about heated arguments, alliance fallouts, and unusual concessions being made. On a more personal level, we will want to be aware that this could be an especially rocky period with coworkers, and we may be licking some wounds to our egos before the week is out.
Astro Homework
Astrological magicians have known of the power of the fixed stars and lunar mansions since the beginning of magical inquiry. We know two things about this Moon. First, it is aligned with a fairly unfortunate star that brings quarrels, and making concessions to others. However, some ancients have also assigned this star to success in business, which would seem to be ruthless. The second things we know is that it falls in the seventh lunar mansion, Al Dihira. This indicates a good time for partnerships, planting, getting a raise, finding a new job, and general abundance.
As an experiment, your homework is to blend these two alignments together to work towards your own personal success. Harness the positive aspects of both positions by charging them in a candle, prayer, intention, or other working. Of course, you shouldn’t be surprised, due to the quarrelsome nature of the fixed star, if you lose some friends as a sacrifice towards your own success.
